The app has no account and no server. Everything you enter into Route to Twenty — your appointment date, rank, banks, overtime entries, pay figures, and the details printed on your overtime reports — is stored on your own phone only, in the app's private storage. It is never transmitted to Noventra Labs or to anyone else. On Android the app does not even hold the permission to use the internet. We cannot see your file, recover it, or delete it for you; deleting the app deletes it.
If you have your phone's backup turned on (iCloud on iPhone, Google backup on Android), the phone may include the app's file in that backup, under your own Apple or Google account, the same way it backs up other apps. That copy belongs to you; Noventra Labs has no access to it. The app also offers a backup code you can copy or share yourself.
Your ESS or NYCAPS login, your password to any Department or City system, your Social Security number, your bank details, or your location. The app shows you where each number appears on your own pay statement and annual pension statement so you can enter it yourself.
If you choose to have the app fill in your overtime reports, you can enter the details the form itself asks for — name, shield, reference number, command, squad or chart, and (for the investigative form only) tax registry number. They are optional, kept on your phone only, and used only to fill the report you decide to share.
Only what you give us on this website: if you request a beta invitation we keep the email address, rank, tier and years-of-service band you enter, use them to send the invitation, and delete them when the beta closes. If you sign the beta agreement on this site we keep the name you type, your email address, the phone type you choose, the date and time, and the version you signed, as the record of your agreement, for as long as the agreement has effect. The forms are handled by our website host (Netlify), which logs form submissions for us; the site itself sets no tracking cookies and loads no advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which sees a request for the font file and nothing else.
Nothing leaves the app unless you send it. When you tap to share an overtime report (a PDF) or a backup code, the app hands it to your phone's own share sheet and you choose where it goes — Mail, Messages, Files, a printer. It never passes through a server of ours. Tapping an email link opens your own mail app.
None. The app contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting service, and no tracking of any kind.
The app is written for members of the service and is not directed to children.
